Be aware that the Kiev series (at least the newer ones) of Minolta 16 clones
uses a slightly different drive spool diameter ( smaller, in order to get
more exposures with a slightly larger 110 frame format). You can use a
Minolta spool in a Kiev but you can't put a Kiev spool in a Minolta 16.

BTW does any one know what that funny plastic spool thing is supposed to be
for in the Kiev 303 box: I can't read Russian. It clearly is not a developing
spool. Perhaps it is just used to measure the length of film when respooling
in the dark....
